ABOUT ME
My curiosity for wine started in London. A bottle here, a tasting there, until I found myself spending weekends in wine shops, reading labels like novels and wondering how one grape could taste a hundred different ways.
But it was Spain that lit the fuse.
After moving to Madrid, I discovered wine in its real context. Not as a product, but as part of daily life. In Spain, wine isn’t just something you drink. It’s woven into everything.
I’ve sat with winemakers in vineyards across Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Rueda, listening to stories that begin in the soil long before they ever reach a glass.
That’s when curiosity turned into something bigger. Not just passion, but purpose.
I started studying seriously, earning my WSET and Spanish Wine Scholar certifications, and I’m now continuing with viticulture and oenology at university to go even deeper. The more I learn, the more I want to share.
Vine Travel was born in Madrid from that obsession. I design small-group and private wine tours from Madrid across Spain’s key wine regions, focusing on producers who prioritise quality, place, and authenticity over scale.
From city tastings in Madrid to road trips through Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Rueda, these are no-BS, expert-led wine experiences designed to go beyond tourism.
If you want a wine trip that feels less like a tour and more like being let in on a secret, you’re in the right place.
