We’ll start with a visit to a family-run winery in the countryside just outside the capital. Visit a historical winery, explore the cellar, and enjoy a guided tasting of 3 wines, including local grapes like Malvar & Tempranillo. The winery is chosen for its authenticity, storytelling, and quality winemaking.
From there, we continue to the beautiful town of Chinchón, famous for its medieval plaza and Castilian character.
You’ll sit down for a multi-course lunch or a selection of tapas at a traditional restaurant.
Return to Madrid with a full belly, a deeper understanding of Spanish wine, and a camera full of village charm.

How far is the winery from Madrid?
The winery is located in the countryside outside Madrid approximately 45 minutes to an hour dependinng on your llocation, making it an easy day trip from the city. Transport to and from central Madrid is included, so you don't need to worry about driving.
What winery will we visit?
We visit a carefully selected, family-run winery known for its authentic character, history and quality wines. The exact winery can vary depending on availability, but we always choose a producer that offers a genuine insight into winemaking in the Madrid region.
How many wines will we taste?
The winery visit includes a guided tasting of three wines, with an introduction to local grape varieties such as Malvar and Tempranillo.
Is lunch included?
Yes. Lunch in the historic town of Chinchón is included. Depending on the restaurant and your preference, this will be either a traditional multi-course lunch or a selection of tapas, accompanied by a drink.
What is Chinchón?
Chinchón is one of the most picturesque historic towns near Madrid, famous for its medieval Plaza Mayor and traditional Castilian architecture. We'll have time to explore the town as part of the experience.
